Warning: SPOILERS for Thor: Ragnarok are ahead!

When we met Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok last November, he was living the good life as the ruler of Sakaar, but thanks to Korg, Miek and the other gladiators staging a revolution on the gladiatorial world, Jeff Goldblum's character was ousted from power and last seen trying to talk his way out of being killed by his former subjects. If you're like me, you've been wondering what happened to Grandmaster, and now we have our answer: he's moved to Earth. A couple days ahead of Thor: Ragnarok's Digital HD release, a first look at the comical clip attached to the movie's bonus features that shows Grandmaster living with Thor's former roommate, Darryl.

Because Thor was one of the few MCU heroes who didn't participate in Captain America: Civil War, Marvel decided to show what the God of Thunder was up to during the conflict through the Team Thor videos, the first of which was released at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con and the second of which was attached to Doctor Strange's home media release. In these mockumentary-style shorts, we learned that Thor had taken a break from the superhero business and was living in Australia with Darryl, an office worker exasperated by how his Asgardian roommate's personality. In this clip from the upcoming Team Darryl short, provided by USA Today, Darryl reveals that Thor has since left, but due to his a new position coming up at his work, he is now living in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the only person who answered Darryl's Craigslist ad for a new roommate in the City of Angels was Grandmaster, and it's immediately clear that Darryl's in for another rough living situation.

With Sakaar no longer under his control, Grandmaster decided to head to Earth to experience our West Coast culture, which apparently includes learning what toast is. With his assistant/bodyguard Topaz no longer with us, Grandmaster has a new opening for someone to attend to his needs, and Darryl is the man for the job. Darryl undoubtedly is uninterested in being Grandmaster's servant, and you can bet it won't take long for him to grow annoyed by his new roommate's mannerisms and that freaky bust he's displayed in the living room. Seriously, that's the thing of nightmares.

After teasing that last October that he'd shot "a thing" with Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi involving a roommate from Australia, it was confirmed last month that Team Darryl would be one of the many bonus features available on the Ragnarok home release. Of course, these shorts aren't canon within the MCU, so while it's fun to imagine that Grandmaster is now living in Los Angeles and getting his Hollywood on, the fact of the matter is that we don't know what's next for him post-Ragnarok. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has expressed interest in Grandmaster hanging out with his brother, The Collector (played by Benicio del Toro), but who knows if that will actually happen.

You can watch all of Team Darryl when you buy Thor: Ragnarok digitally starting next Tuesday, February 20, or you can wait for the Blu-ray to arrive on March 6. Thor will return alongside the other MCU heroes when Avengers: Infinity War comes out on May 4.

Star Wars Fans Got Too Excited About A Photo Today

Update: Earlier today, a picture flew around the Internet that was posted by Star Wars' Dan Mindel. It appeared to be a set with some lights from the upcoming Star Wars Episode IX. Fans on Twitter got excited, which caused many outlets to get excited and run stories. Upon further review, however, it seems the picture in question is actually a still from John Carter, which Dan Mindel also worked on. There's nothing like Star Wars to generate the most aggressive opinions, both pro and con, and to generate lengthy think pieces about a set photo that's actually from another movie entirely. Star Wars Episode IX is currently in production and that means it's Christmas for Star Wars fans as every few days we get something new to pour over. Today's gift is a picture of the set at, I believe, Pinewood Studios in London. The new film's director of photography shared an image in which he, unsurprisingly, was most interested in the lighting, but the picture shows off a bit more than that, including some structures that will clearly make up part of a set. Check it out.

Whatever your job is, you probably geek out a little bit when it comes to certain aspects of it. That's really all Director of Photography Dan Mindel is doing here, as he's just super excited that he gets to work with a great light source since that's sort of important to his job. However, the space lights he's showing off aren't all we see, as below them we get a glimpse of a set that's currently in construction for Star Wars Episode IX.

Of course, we don't see a lot here, it's unlikely Dan Mindel would have been allowed to post the image if we did, but what we do see is worth investigating. The walls are covered in green screen, which means that what's being built here is only a fraction of what we'll actually see on the screen when this scene ends up in the final cut of the film. We also see arch-like structures which appear to look like they're artificial like they could be part of a building or a ship, rather than a cave or other "natural" structure, though that's little more than a guess.

What might be more interesting, however, might be the thing that we don't really see in the picture. There's a platform on a boom that appears to be strategically placed in the picture so that we can't see what's on the floor of the set. Of course, since we can't see it, it's the part that many fans have become the most interested in. One popular fan theory making the rounds online is that it's a mosaic showing the Prime Jedi symbol, the image of a Jedi set in between the light and the dark sides. The image was viewable in the First Jedi Temple on Ahch-To in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, so it's certainly possible that it could show up again. Having said that I don't see anything in what we can see here that gives me any indication of what it is. It appears that the space lights are lighting it up and so any image that's on the ground is looking washed out, if there's anything there at all.

The Creed II Characters The Director Wants To Explore In A Spinoff Movie

Creed III is a movie that, while not officially confirmed, seems only a heartbeat away from actually happening. But besides the further adventures of Adonis Creed and his family, there's another possibility in the air, spinning off the story of Ivan and Viktor Drago into a separate film exploring their relationship further. Creed II's director Steven Caple Jr. is certainly behind the concept, as he admitted the following to CinemaBlend:

Dolph was like, 'We could have our own.' ... Their characters are really established here, and I think that'd be fun, to see where they go after this. ... I never thought about it in a serious way, because we always joked about it. But now that I have time to breathe, I probably will. I think it would be fun. I think what happens to them after this will still be interesting, and where they go, there'll still be much in the relationship that can be explored.

While the bulk of Creed II is focused on Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed, and how he not only navigates challenges inside and outside of the ring, there's a B story that weaves its way into the film involving the legacy of the Drago family name. In particular, we learn of Ivan's disgrace after being beaten by Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) in Rocky IV, which was so great the man was basically disowned by the Soviet Union.

Not to mention, the fallout of that match also lead to his wife Ludmilla, played by Brigitte Nielsen in Rocky IV, abandoning him and their son Viktor. Which, in turn, has led to both Drago men having a bit of a complex when it comes to winning in the ring. By time their star starts rising again, Ludmilla's surprise resurgence in their lives only stokes the fires.

Most importantly though is the fact that Creed II has actually humanized Dolph Lundgren's infamous fighter, giving Ivan a more identifiable side in this latest film. So not only is a spin-off possible for Ivan and Viktor Drago, but it's something that fans would more than likely want to watch.

Director Steven J. Caple Jr. certainly seems to think so, as he admitted in his interview with CinemaBlend that he kind of treated Creed II as a semi-spinoff for the Dragos in the first place. While this certainly doesn't rob Adonis's story of any sort of shine, it does leave the audience wanting more from the Drago side of the house, especially as we see Ivan slowly realize just what he's doing by pushing his son's career in the ring.

As Creed II closes the book on the Dragos, we see Ivan and Viktor go back into training, but we feel a palpable tension between the two men. There are unspoken, unsettled issues that are still lingering as the men return to the streets of their foreign home. So while Adonis Creed's story may seem to have a limited number of paths to travel in order to make a proper sequel happen, there's still some room for the Dragos to break the past, and the barriers between each other.

Creed II is in theaters now. The Drago spinoff could be coming. Would you watch it?
